Instructions
Paneer filling
- Gather ingredients as mentioned.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add Chilli-Ginger-Garlic Paste and cook to remove the raw flavor.
- Add onions and cook until they turn translucent.
- Add green and red bell pepper and let it cook for few mins. Make sure not to fully cook the peppers so that we don't loose the crunch.
- Once the peppers are cooked, add all the dry spices mentioned in ingredient list. Let the spices cook with vegetables for few secs.
- Once the spices are roasted, add scrambled paneer and mix it well.
- Add salt to taste and cook for about 3 mins so that all the flavors are integrated.
- Let the prepared filling cool down. You can spread the filling in a plate or keep it under the fan to expedite the cooling.
- After 10 mins of rest time, the filling should be good to be assembled in bread.
Sandwich assembly
- Apply some butter to the bread and spread a layer of paneer filling prepared and cover the sandwich with other bread.
- Toast the sandwich in manual or electric toaster as per your choice. I like using manual toaster as I like the taste of sandwich better in manual toaster.
- The delicious and healthy Paner toast sandwich is ready to be packed in tiffin box.
